As an Egyptian i love this video . I would like to add : 1. Egypt is defined by the nile . And with the feared water wars an invasion of sudan is possible but it would be an absolute Afghanistan becasue many parts of sudan descentralized and tribal and filled with very proud and strong people. Where ( except in the main cetralized areas ) tribes sides with and against the central government depending on their benefits. If the Egyptian army invades and makes the central government surrender that doesn't mean the rest of the proud tribes would . If egypt decide to go they wont settle with a coast line and some more desert ( things egypt has too much of . They will go full historical claim for the whole thing especially becasue the valuable parts are the ferile nile and south . But that would be ungodly expensive to reach and hold . Best case is vassalization of sudan and make it a proxy state or a loose confederation and sign a treaty of sacrificing portions of their nile water share and With egypt holding main ports and strategies locations and private Egyptian organisations taking swaps of fertile lands ( Egypt need ) in the name of capitalism not conquest - invasion of Eritrea is feasible but unwise. if Egypt choose those borders there is no way egypt would let Ethiopia join in. as both of egypt and Ethiopia are in a lite rivalry. With Egypt new borders egypt NEEDs to keep Eritrea as a buffer state building bases and defence pacts and making sure an Ethiopian invasion is difficult - invasion of libya is perfectly described but inconvenient This costal charge and control of the mineral rich dessert is the next logical step for a foreigner to assume . But to egypt this is the opposite direction if any war game . Real stuff is to the east but it wouldn't hurt to take the eastren part of Libya like in vedio because it was a part of the Egyptian frontier in the past - an invasion of israel is nothing short of a miracle. It's realy impossible unless we assume that the entire nato wouldn't declare total war ( like in the gulf war ) or that Israel wouldn't use nukes. Because they Legally WILL due to the samson option causing nuclear hell to fall upon Egyptian cities in the suez canal and maybe even the capital. But with this mental gymnastics ( no aid and no nukes ) Egypt wouldn't need syria and lebnon as the Egyptian army has been building itself in the field of the conventional warfare outnumbering and outgunning isreal ( because Israel focused on her diplomatic reach in the last decades and its army is more focued on urban and proxy warefare due to its asymmetric modern wars with hamas and huzbullah and irs peace with the conventional powers like egypt and jorday . So a surprising blitz would be brutal and bloody but will eventually work in the absence of nukes and external support especially that after sudan and libya wars Egypt army is now full of veterans. If egypt won there wouldn't be a state of Palestine. There will be a full annexing because Egypt would never waste the PR power of being the patron of the aqsa mosque and the holy temple + the important costal side the sea . - the middle east war is where you lose me. Egypt has no strategic reason to take on KSA. and if they do the sunni Muslims egypt would not ally with shia iran to fight sunni KSA and sunni turkey. They would be absolute pariahs for no reason. The logical step is to push more in the levant through lebnon and syria ( as Egypt has historically always did ) due to the importance of the fertile crescent strategically as both a fertile soil Egypt ( thay is mostly desert can use ) an vital buffer against the local great powers ( turkey and iran ) This is the real ( fictional ) target not KSA Last thing .. If egypt want to chose to be an empire they will never stop until they dominate the two pillars of their cultural identity. The two pillars are the river and the sea ( Nile and Mediterranean) so a war in ksa doesn't make sense, and in libya is a bit inconvenience but logical. but an endgame with Ethiopia to dominate the blue nile or a great game with turkey and greece to control cyprus and kerete to dominate the eastern Mediterranean with its trade routes and natural gas reserves is a MUST for thr existence of this fictional empire

People think that Egypt didn't have colonies and therefore, it was weak, but they are horribly mistaken. Egyptians are and will always be peaceful people. Violence is never our way and we are not losers to exploit other nations.
