@@chronicallyboredenby well it used to, ottoman purges and Muslim migrations to Lebanon after ww1 and 2 left Christianity in a minority, then we had a civil war because Israel sent Palestinians to Lebanon when Lebanon wasn’t prepared and only some Palestinians wanted Lebanon to be a Palestinian sate so they fought the war and won. Most Palestinians didn’t want it but they couldn’t do anything as the PLA was being supplied by Islamic states such as Iran for example. Then Hezbollah formed. A shi’a based Muslim militia hellbent on killing Israel, now Christian’s are leaving Lebanon along with being a minority in Lebanon. The prime minister has to be shia Muslim and the prime minister calls the shots, the president has no power. Btw the pm is in hezbollah and Iran supports hezbollah. If anyone says this is racist, everything on KZbin is gonna be seen as racist in peoples eyes. And I mean SOME PALESTINIANS. NOT ALL. Most were on the Christians side but couldn’t fight with them. The PLA was Palestinian liberation army. Backed by Iran, they wanted to attack Israel via Lebanon (pla did) the ppl didn’t like that. BAM civil war, 2 million alive before, 1 million died. Half of the ppl died
