Thank you for the kind words, Lakshmi! I don't refer to any books. I rather focus on observing the language as profoundly and meticulously as I can. That helps me dig deep and break it down.

Yaha par "the Wedding" to join ka object hai agar ha to object noun ya pronoun hota hai aur question karu to 'to join where' to answer aata raha hai the wedding where wale to adverb hote hai to yaha the wedding noun hai yah adverb?
@EnglishWithAshish Жыл бұрын
'Join what' would be the question. And it's an object, not an adverb.

Hello Ashish! I hope you are well. I need your help in understanding something. In the sentence "Though I was tired, I finished my work." Could you tell me what kind of clause is 'though I was tired' ? And if your answer is 'adverb clause' then could you tell me what it is modifying ?
@EnglishWithAshish2 жыл бұрын
Hello Sudipta, It is a dependent clause working as an adverb. It is modifying the main clause by focusing on the situation it took place in.

Adverbs can't be subject complements. A subject complement is either is a noun or an adjective, renaming or modifying the subject.

The doer or objects related to it tends to come after the verb or as close as possible to it.

@@EnglishWithAshish but why then in this sentence we said that: I lived at home with my parents to save money while I was working on my doctorate. Why didn't we place (with my parents) phrase right after the verb (lived) based on the rule you said in your comment ???
