How can you know for sure?

@@codyboyles2963 you have to use the appropriate interface and read live data off of the ECU. The ECU has a reference value table programed, that the car checks against the actual. The two may differ to an allowed degree, which is not much.

@@codyboyles2963 probably the easiest to have it checked by specialist. I suppose off of the car, though if there is easy access, one can do trial and error until the car behaves nicely, but I wouldn't try to mess around with it.

@@codyboyles2963 cars can vastly differ from one another, some systems can take more messing around than others. Also just by merely imcreasing boost pressure, doesn't guarantee more power, most likely exactly the opposite. Power is a multiple factor outcome in case of a car.

If you have an adjustable wastegate rod you can lessen the preload, that should give you slightly less boost
