whaat was the purpose of what lloked to be glue on the bolt head or was that grease? also, when doing the center line, why did he have the wood at like a 45 degree angle and not straight to make the v groove? anyone know the answers to this?

Great jig! How can you tell where the mortise starts and stops? It seems like the jig covers up your lines.

It's designed to do full length grooves, not short slots. But measuring and marking an offset from the edge of the bit to edge of jig would work

just by looking at the router face plate and the width and length of the jig i would guess 5W x 10L and the fences im pretty sure are not more than 1-1/2 x1-1/2 . but that the beauty of wood working whatever your imagination can come up with
