I don't think I will ever understand why videos like this get downvoted. Personally I prefer dialogue to further explain what is going on but his videos are crystal clear with no language barrier. Another great video.

Your videos always inspire me! I went with Hardboard (HDF) and 2020 t-slot extrusions. It's given me a great deal more adaptability with being able to mount things to the sides, and to screw the hardboard onto the t-slot extrusion, from underneath. I made a 8-way version as well, with a few pieces, and can now do octagons.

Thanks for sharing this design. Gotta say mine worked OK, but I really struggled to get a clean recess with it. My Makita router has a big knob sticking out at the base, which meant I had to keep rotating the router to avoid it hitting the rails, and I kept dipping the router into the recess accidentally. It's a wired router, too, so that compounds the problem of trying to rotate it 360˚ in a small rectangle. I also had some issues clamping it down...if one side was too tight the MDF boards wouldn't stay level with each other and I'd get another hiccup when moving between boards. Had a heck of a time getting the right parts in the UK, as well, and I didn't get the exact ones...nothing common fits comfortably in those t-rails; they don't seem to make nuts that fit snuggly and that would have helped (I think they do for the larger t-rails). I'm looking at other jigs for future projects that work better with my router.

How are the results? Mine works well enough but like statet above needs a rebuild because i simply could not center the damn routerplate. I first need to rebuild the router circlecuting jig then the baseplate then recut the jig to make it perfect...xD.

You don't have to, feel free to modify it if you think you have another way. I guess, he did that just for convenience because is easier and faster when release the jig because a larger room to slide the bolt.
