In this video I show you how to make an attractive adjustable slide knot necklace. No clasp needed! Wear it long or as a choker and everything in between. This can also work for a bracelet.
For adults, use 1 meter (39") of non-waxed cord or leather and 1 yard (36") for kids.
To add beads and a side-drilled pendant, add them to the cord BEFORE making your knots.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and will take the time to LIKE and SHARE. If you like my channel I hope you will SUBSCRIBE.
Thanks so much for watching and for your support.
Peace

Thank you. So many people do not show both sides, nor do they give instructions on how to finish the knots. Much appreciated.

I watch and rewatch because I'm a slow learner. This is the. BEST video to learn a slide knot finish for a cord on a. pendant. No wasted time with extraneous information, Liz gets right to the point and you can tie your knot along with her!

I bought a jade pendant recently without any sort of cord from it, and then ordered some leather cord. I just made my pendant into a functional necklace with this tutorial in about 15 minutes. A great pastime in quarantine. Thank you so much for the tutorial!

How to measure the length of the cord for like a 16'' necklance?
@makingiteasywithliz
@makingiteasywithliz 9 жыл бұрын
luckboysunday Hi luckboysunday. This is an adjustable necklace. For an adult, you start with 1 meter (39") of cord. It can then be adjusted to whatever length you want after you slip it over your head. If you are trying to get it as small as you can, it needs to fit over the head (average 22"-24"). I hope this helps and thanks so much for watching.

can you please do a video on how to pull the knots appart i have one but i put the knots together and now i can't move them
@makingiteasywithliz
@makingiteasywithliz 8 жыл бұрын
You probably made them too tight or used the wrong type of cording. Waxed or textured cord won't work.

What is the width size of your cord? Any comments on which to choose (its sold in 1, 1.5, 2, etc mm)?
@makingiteasywithliz
@makingiteasywithliz 8 жыл бұрын
Hi Will I like 2mm or 3mm rattan for this technique. 1.5mm will work too, just make sure you don't make you knots too tight. Thank you got watching.
