this is invalid and wrong information that's not how you turn up your fuel that's the Alda screw its your altitude adjustment setting it has absolutely nothing to do with turning up the fuel flow in your pump

From my experience working on diesel vehicles, the adjustment on the high pressure fuel pump is the fuel flow. However i work on diesel trucks not cars and it might be the alda screw

@@theskinnytechnician You probably found out by now, but that is definitely the ALDA screw. Turning it up does allow the fuel pump to access more of its range before the turbo builds enough boost for the ALDA to free up the fuel pump travel like it normally does. You probably also know that making sure ALL the fuel filters are tip-top is the first step to getting some level of performance back. These old things can be slow at best, but they're especially slow when they're not eating right because of dirty fuel filters!

While he failed to adjust the fuel input because when he turned the screw the nut turned as well with it and then he tighten it back exactly how it was you are unfortunately incorrect adjusting the alda does in fact turn up the pump.
