I just finished up my four years of Air Force JROTC. This is funny for sure, but damn it makes me sorta depressed. The four years were legit fun, and also legit awful. Met a lot of good and bad people, and I’ve changed as a person tremendously, but I’m not sure what life is gonna be like without coming into the ROTC hallway and seeing both friends and foes. It makes me feel grown up in a sense. I put hard work and effort into the unit I was in. Sure sometimes I despised everything having to do with it, but it’s taught me a lot that other classes, or even parents won’t teach you. I’m glad I chose to do it, I’m happy it happened, but now I miss it too. Not just ROTC in general, but the people I’ve gotten the privilege to know for a long time. God bless all of you, if you’re reading this, SC-872. Love you guys.

5 1/2 yrs in the JROTC 1 /12 yrs in the AJROTC and 4 yrs in the NJROTC and yeah i know how this guy feels. After high school i was not allowed to serve my country because i wear hearing aids but it was such an honor to march and wear military uniforms and be ranked and earn highest awards in the program. Best years of my life and i thank about it all the time.
