As a JROTC Staff Sergeant instructor, i can confirm that this is 100% accurate, the screaming, marching in rain or 90 degree weather, all of it, it was period 3 on day on a tuesday and the cadets had to scream out our company motto, my mind was like "RIP my friend having a math test next door" then we had to scream our guts out at PT. So this is more and accurate and great video.

@Apoxlotl2 ай бұрын
Being a part of NJROTC, and just having become the Cadet Commander this school year, I can still say over the last 3 school years that, yes, this video is 100% Accurate. I remember last school year when I was still just a P2, and we were doing Drill (since for my school, Drills was every Monday, but I don't know about other schools). And like every Monday before that day, we'd all gone out to the field next to our building, and I called them all into attention as usual to separate them into groups so it'd be easier. Now, we share our Building with the Veterinary Shop, which means the animals were right behind the building in their own area. Every single time we went out there, the animals (which included two Turkeys and two Alpacas) would just stand there, and watch us do this until I formed them back up to go back inside to go to our next classes. Then I learned they were actually watching Me specifically, because my Elder Sister (who was still in high school at the time, she graduated last school year) took the Veterinary Shop, and we looked nearly identical to most people, so I imagined this is why they always stared. But all that was Context for what I Really wanted to say. So Last School Year, we had our AMI, and the area in which we do our AMI isn't even that far from the animals. So Imagine our Area Managers Surprise when he sees the animals had been watching the Entirety of the AMI because I was Close Enough for them to spot me. He spent most of the time he watched trying to not laugh.

If you ever pursue ROTC in college, please make a video about it 😂 You'll do similar stuff, but also throw in balancing other classes and doing field training every week. And instead of just wearing the rank in a garrison setting, you actually will takes turns in every role from a commander to a basic joe in simulated combat exercises. But you also get to do some cool random stuff too, like when my peers and I rappeled down the highest building on compass.

I'm a lot better when it comes to socializing, I learned so much that you don't really learn in other classes, and overall, had a really fun time. I ended up in AJROTC because my school had a "We need x amount of students in each class to be in JROTC for some reason" policy. Eventually, I ended up growing a liking to the program, especially when I found out it would get me into the military at E-3. So, I ended up spending all four years of my highschool in AJROTC. We had our fair share of "bullys" in the program who harassed other students, but not enough to cause too much of a problem.

We also have Military Ball, Corps picnics, field trips, B.O.B., Dine-out night, Colorguard (now called Honor Guard), and get into Homecoming for free if you sign up to do what they tell you. I did JROTC because my older brother did. At first, I was a little intimidated, no going to lie. However, as I learned basic movements and training over the first few months, the program grew on me. Inspection, drill, marksmanship (air rifle), and all other activities were extremely fun. One thing that I appreciated the most is that when in JROTC, you are a whole family, everyone knows you and wants the best out of you, which really helped me come out of my shell (I was a little shy in the beginning of high school). Overall, JROTC is a great program, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to better themselves and be apart of something bigger! 'Oorah!

We don’t have military clubs in Indonesian primary and secondary school. Paskibraka is flag-bearing, patriotic but no military components. It’s a completely different thing. The closest thing we have is at the university level, which is Menwa (student regiment), which is somewhat of a mix between JROTC and ROTC. Taruna Nusantara and other similarly militaristic high schools are more equivalent to military high schools in the US, not JROTC.

I love Tabbes, her stories, animation, & how she speaks her mind & doesn't give a shit about what others think or say, about her. I also like her Level of Self Esteem or Self Confidence.

I am also in a military school !!! Well, I am using a translator because English is not my first language yet, I came to this video by chance and understood 40% of it. and oh god. I am attending a military school (of my own free will) it is not a normal course, it is very similar to how you portray it. I got up at 5 am every morning and left school at 5 pm because I was an external regime. Every morning we went through the same thing, it is more difficult for the first year (Children of 13/12 years) since they were the ones who more "executed", "execute" is the way we call the lightening movements (Push-ups , Abs and some other type of torture, put your legs extended at 45 degrees while you are lying on the floor) I was not very good at physical education and I SUFFERED ENOUGH, I can talk about more anecdotes if you want, now I am in my 4th year, the next I can direct the rest of the courses, and force them to do these exercises if they do something wrong. Its beautiful. edit: I did not think that many would like this comment, thanks cadets

External regimes and executions? What country do you live in?
@darkkartss21904 жыл бұрын
@@RestrictedHades Well, I don't like to talk about what country I live, because I think that one day some comrade will read the comment, he will know that it was me and I will have a very bad time. But I live in a country south of the globe, below the equator
@darkkartss21904 жыл бұрын
@@RestrictedHades I understood from the first year that the "executions" were necessary since in themselves we were a bad "promotion" (I don't know how they say to the years in the USA / England, for example, the year he graduated in 2017 is the "promotion 17 ") The time I hated them was very short, but I began to understand why, although it ended very badly afterwards xD. It is normal for people to see it as something strange and hard, come on, if you say it to me from 4 years ago, I would too

As a high schooler in a ALL JROTC MILITARY HIGHSCHOOL I can say it’s extremely fun and it trains you to be better
@carlosforbidden14294 жыл бұрын
As a person who was in JROTC for 4 years, and enlisted right after high school. Lets not confuse the two. JROTC isnt a "military" program per se, its a program runned by the school with veterans as instructors. They teach you real shit, like taxes, budgets, first aid, etc. Still tho, its fun all around, from the people, to the roasts by the instructors in class. 10/10

Jrotc at my high school was literally the opposite. People would come up in there and goof around for a few hours, and the actual events were optional. I wish my class had been like yours.
