Hi Bryan, do we need to fill out the APPLICANT''S INFORMATION WORKSHEET (AIW) section of the ASC appointment notice before going to our biometrics appointment?

@@ECBSJ we didn’t have to do that for the worksheet. Once you submit the adjustment status folders to USCIS. They’re gonna process your paper and set you up a biometrics appointment.

Hi brian, I got married on 8 march, aplied for AOS 27th march. Biometrics on 1st may. But my timline for green card showing 4 months from last two months. My work permit was expected a month ago according to timeline. But now its showing taking lo ger then expected..

@@shananapier4941 yes whatever you change on your name for the marriage certificate that’s gonna be your new name going forward. In all documents, cover letter, written exams, or even filling out forms. Whatever your new last name or changes. That’s gonna be your name for now on your adjustment of status.

Aloha Bryan!!! My I-129F has been approved and currently we are going through NVC process. I emailed the US embassy in my country asking if my Petitioner can attend the visa interview with me. They said, if the Guard receptionist let my Petitioner come with me then he can come with me but I am assuming the Guards wont let my Fiance come with me since no one is allowed without an appointment. I want to know if there is a way we can request the emabssy to give a letter or anything for my fiance to come to interview with me. The embassy I am talking about is US Embassy Dhaka, Bangladesh.

@@tahminasarika6719 no unfortunately they don’t wanna have no fiancé or petitioner going with you during an interview because it could be a red flag and they can sense of not giving the right answer. The fiancé or petitioner can only be seated outside, but not joining with the interview. Congratulations on your K-1 approved one step close to being finally getting approved for your K1. Just make sure you fill out every form and get evidence prior to your interview. Good luck.

Who needs a biometrics the fiance or the petitioner or both parties?

@@arseniofandino3710 the biometrics is for the beneficiary that lives abroad. Not the petitioner in USA. So the spouse that is now married and needs to do the green card. That person needs to do a biometrics.

Hi Brian I received text just now says I-485 applicants receiving a Request for Evidence for Form I-693 should return it as soon as possible by overnight/priority/courier delivery. I don't understand what does this mean? When I file my AOS I submit my form 3025 I don't get it. I check my USCIS account status nothing changed on my status it's been 4 months since they received my RFE

@@twishy5001 once you send all the items you need to resubmit. Your case will be process again. So don’t panic. Just stay on course. I had the same. And we passed as well.

@@Kareninapk. I would double check on where you can pick it up in person. Cause usually it takes about a good 2 weeks to be delivered in the mail. But you can ask you local department of health. That way you can get in hand and make copies to do the AOS.

Hi. Your videos have been a big help to us. I have a question regarding name of your wife on the marriage certificate bcoz she has 2 names. Example: her name is Amara Miah Wong (wong is her lastname), can my fiance just use Amara Smith? (Smith is my lastname). Would they allow that?

@@cal_bo once you get married. You will need a marriage certificate in order to get married. And you need to register as well. So you and fiance can discuss the last name you want to use. Since my wife is here in America. She chose my last name to be added to her certificate. So that she is officially married with my last name. You can also add your last name and your spouse name together. Some couple do that as well. Just depends on what you want to do. Goodluck

@@molachgar3617 if you don’t have a work permit from your AOS with your social security card. You can’t work at all You must get a work permit and you can add your social security card to get employment. Without it. Then it’s not finalize for you to stay in America. You need to do it asap.

@@kanwarpal5201 once you got approved. They will take your passport and you can pick it up or they will send it in the mail to you with the k1 visa inside. You will have 60 days to come to USA before it expires.

@@nyhabhattee you need to fill out the i485, i765, i131 and i864 forms. All forms must be signed and dated. The i864 form will be filled out by the petitioner and with all evidences of financial assistance support. And the rest of the form filled out by the beneficiary. All forms must have proof of evidences prior to it. Check out my table of contents of what I submitted and it will help you get a green card. The fees are different and changed. So get the updated fees and biometrics correction for 2024-2025.
