I recommend zweitaktfreunde-mainz.de/archiv/content/adler-m-200/ Its the original repairmanual from the 50s. Its in german however.

The crank was held together in the center with a special bolt with it's head being like gear teeth and a special wrench that projected through the flywheel that gripped the head of that bolt like a gear - I recall it was accessed through the generator side of the engine with the internal crank cover and main bearing removed. I had an Adler scrambler that needed a new connecting rod and bearing and I had to send the whole engine base to a specialist in N.Y. state who had the proper tools to take the crankshaft out and rebuild.

@@whalesong999 Very true. I got done with that whole ordeal a couple of weeks ago. You need that crank splitting tool, a puller for the inner bearing ring (generator side), a puller for the ring that closes the gap to the crankcase seal (clutch side), a special (self-made) bolt to push the generator anchor from the crank and lets not forget the puller for the transmission input gear either.... Lets just say is was involved. The original repair manual was of SOME help though😂 ✌️

Aus meiner Sicht is das ne rein Optische Geschichte, denn der Tank hat nur einen Ausgang, dass schließt ihn Als Doppeltank zum Beispiel zum Umschalten auf Petroleum aus, was auch eher bei älteren Motorrädern verbaut wurde, da im Zweiten Weltkrieg der Kraftstoff für die Zivile Bevölkerung Knapp wurde, baute man solche Tanks um nach dem Warmfahren des Motors auf Petroleum umschalten zu können, welches wohl damals noch einfacher zu beschaffen war, not macht eben erfinderisch. Auch interessant, der Tank is unter dem Rohr verbaut, was am Boden eine Gerade Fläche ermöglicht.

Hallo, das ist da der Tank von unten an den Rahmen geschraubt wird. Dadurch dass der Sprit nicht so leicht verdrängt werden kann wie wenn er auf dem Rahmen liegt, gibt es zur richtigen entlüftung zwei tankdeckel

@@vintagebikecrew Oh daran hab ich jetzt garnicht gedacht, das Gesetz der kommunizierenden Röhren funktioniert ja nicht wenn die Luft nicht verdrängt werden kann, wieder was gelernt👌
