Thanks for sharing. My husband's case has been in administrating processing and I have not seen my husband since. It has been since December 2022 and I have not heard anything about his case. I have been praying and trusting God he will come through for me and my family. This has been the hardest time in my life and cry every day and often don't think this hell will end.

Yeah administrative process is the hardest for everyone but December 22 is still early these cases now days take 8 months to a year . So if no major issue was said for Ap you should wait and continue trusting God he will come through. Just keep sending emails about case status

I did my interview on 18th April 2024, after three simple question and 2 minutes the visa officer said congratulations and enjoy your days in USA. the purpose is to attend a conference. Sir, I need help from you. I am an F1 visa holder and my visa has been stuck since 24 August 2022. On 24 August I was interviewed and after finishing the interview visa officer gave me a 221g white slip where he marked Update i-20 to mail them and give my passport back but wrote down to pay vfs when I would mail them. It’s only been a week but when I checked the status on ceac, it still says refused but the case last updated date changed to today. Did that used to happen to you where you saw they looked into your case and update the date on ceac ? I’m wondering if it’s just normal or if it’s a good sign that maybe they are checking the case

Yeah I know how it feels I was there for 3 months. If you have sent back the requested documents just wait they are working om you watch out for date changes each time a date is updated even if status remains refused it means they are actively working on the case it takes time but eventually the visa is issued

On 14 March 2023 I was at the US Embassy and I was given a pink paper of 221g form. They gave me a wait notice for one month and incase I don't hear from them I should email them. Updating your case even if it remains refused is positive because it shows that they are looking at your case. Ap takes long you need to be patient
