Yeah, it's been hovering around $15 on Amazon for a while. Not bad considering it would have been well over $30 on Pulse. It looks pretty good for what it is. I appreciate you watching as always!

Matches the kenner original perfectly, which hardly had any paint detail. Glad it came with a baton too. The sculpt on these is really good. I may have to order another cheap one to open.

I already have the ROTJ Akcbar but the fact that the skin color is different I wouldn’t mind using this Kenner inspired one as a random rebel fleet Officer 👍🏼

I have a sneaking suspicion Hasbro used the Kenner thing as an excuse to save money on paint apps. Full price for this would be too much, but I do like that he comes with the baton. With a custom paint job this could look really good. As someone else commented it could be another Mon Cal officer. Another thoughtful review Matt.👍

Yeah, the fact that this figure retailed for 27.99 is absurd. The baton is really neat, and I agree - painting this one would look great. Some of the random Mon Cals from ROTJ or Admiral Raddus from Rogue One. Actually, I think there were some other really cool looking Mon Calamari on the ship in Rogue One. Hey, I was really excited about your review of the Kenner-colored Admiral Ackbar (I love the Guinness Kenobi figure with the vinyl cape and the grass green Greedo from this line). The original vintage figure is probably in my attic somewhere. I think the regular Black Series figure is really great, I just left this one out because of the strange pupils. Seems like as an Admiral of the Rebel Alliance you have to take a shot of LSD every now and then to get by... :)

The Kenobi and Greedo both look really good. I think Hasbro did a good job capturing the "Kenner look" just like on Ackbar. The eyes are pretty weird... I think you might be right about the LSD hits. LOL! Thanks for checking out the review!

Nice review!! ❤❤❤ He’s pretty stiff. Articulation in the head is terrible. Is the articulation the same on the nicely painted Ackbar?

FOIL!!!! I MUST HAVE FOIL!!! 😅 Like the flying rat, the magpie, I am attracted to shiny things! But not shiny things that stand in The "Smooth Criminal" aesthetic! 😅😂 Bloody loose ankles! My Monny Moth-ers came like that as well and couldn't stand for shit... I can't remember how I rectified that now? but I rammed a rawl plug up her dress hard at one point to try and space her legs out! (😮😮) Love these Addy Ackkers! Now you have two, I bet you'll soon be on Ebay sniffing out that "Fost Orr-duh" pac-a-dieu to grab his see-kwell look! 😅 I couldn't help myself. I even need another of those 2-pacs as the FO Orrificer I got initially, had a dodgy paint mess on his arm, where some sort of paint detailing should have been. I am SO anal about stuff like that, I immediately made a Rebel Alliance background old bloke leader, with a painted white Cassian Andor hair and beard head. But, I'll be very happy with another Akkaz for sure... Once you go Akkaz, you'll never go Bakkaz!! 😅😂

Haha the foil card is pretty cool. Loose ankles are such a pain... I can just picture you struggling with Mon Mothma - LOL! Not sure if I'll go after the 2-pack sequel Ackbar...
