1st time I saw them was 44 years ago and this show was magic. This was my 16 year old daughter's first Pretenders show. She was shocked when I told her Chrissie's age.....she hasn't changed and her voice sounds the same as it did 40 years ago.....Guitar player and band are the best version of the band I've seen since the original. Thank you so much for capturing a great moment in time!

I saw them 8/13 at the Masonic Hall in SanFrancisco and was blown away. As you say her voice has not diminished at all and the guitar player "James Walboure" was phenomenal.

The Pretenders are a British-American rock band formed in March 1978. The original band consisted of founder and main songwriter Chrissie Hynde (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), James Honeyman-Scott (lead guitar, backing vocals, keyboards), Pete Farndon (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Martin Chambers (drums, backing vocals, percussion). Following the deaths of Honeyman-Scott in 1982 and Farndon in 1983, the band experienced numerous personnel changes; Hynde has been the band's only consistent member.

Interesting. Was not that way at Philly show. I understand the policy because many use their phones and “block” the view of others. The guitar solos were to right side of stage which was unfortunately blocked by some rather tall people so I did not even pan over. Wish I had a clearer position to cover more of the stage. The fun of a general admission show. I almost dropped my phone about a dozen times getting bumped into. Thanks for watching.
