People started covering Vocaloid and learned how to sing in a ways previously impossible for human artists. This song is a cover from Kikuo, an japanese producer that mostly uses vocaloid for his compositions. Due to the nature of vocaloid (an digital voice synthesizer), the vocal lines tends to get real wild since they dont have the restraints of a real, human voice. Knowing that, you can appreciate way more the work of ado and many other Utaites (japanese singers who do covers from vocaloid/games/animes/j-pop on nico nico douga and youtube) since they bring their own spin on really difficult songs that already have such power originally. Ado's range of emotional performance is perfect for this song which is basically the unhinged rant of a neglected child growing up into an attention seeker but never being able to have the void filled. The dainty whispering she does reflects this perfectionist persona the child creates in order to gain affection that then bursts into strait up screams of anger and frustration when she finally gets what she wants but is never satisfied. Ado perfectly displayed the tragedy of the song to the most extreme and we love her for that!
