This song portrays a good child who has behaved properly since a young age, becoming crazy with a desire to be loved, to be truly loved. Ado skillfully expresses this duality (the outward cuteness and the inner cry) by switching her voice.

I saw her live in Chicago and she's absolutely incredible! Hopefully not a once in a lifetime experience but 200% a must see. My favorite singer of all time now. Also the live version of this song is out now so you should check it out

Good reaction! This girl will only get better. And to think, we have no clue what she looks like! I've seen concert footage and she keeps her appearance vague even then. And her voice is as amazing in the concerts.

There are many people in Japan who can make various voices. Ado sang it into a song. She grew up to be a singer who likes vocaloid and has an inhuman voice.

on top of her voice, she is 21 right now and her debut song (Ussewa) she released when she was only 17! on top of all of this...idk if she still is but for a while she was completely self-taught! (you should totally check out other songs/covers by her such as God-ish)

この歌は1番では親の愛を求める幼女の心の叫び(狂気的な歌声)と、愛されたいが為に良い子を演じる姿(ソフトな歌声)が歌われています。2番目では学生になり良い子を演じてきた彼女が恋焦がれる相手に告白をする際の熱い(狂気的な)想いと、相手に好感を持たれるように優しくておしとやかな(理性的な)姿が歌われています。内面の狂気と外面の理性が交互に表現されているのですが、詩の意味を理解せずに聞いていると多重人格者が歌っているようにも聞こえてしまいます。そのため、彼女の歌い方のテクニックに注目されがちですが、実は適切なボイスコントロールがされていて表現力が凄いのです。それはオリジナルを歌った歌手が霞んでしまう程に。。。日本語の歌詞を理解するのは難しいですが、詩の意味を理解すると理解が深まると思います。特に彼女の「〇〇〇歌いました」は歌詞の意味をよく理解して歌っているものが多いので、それが理解できるとより味わい深くなると思います。

As Ado`s big fan I must carry this faith to the masses. Most of her song, independently is it a cover or is it her own song sounds like banger. Lyrics also full of meaning I recomend to listen next if not listened yet: 2. "Ussewa" - her debut song, when she was 17 (1 day before 18) 3. "Shoka" - song written by Ado. This song made me scare twice, firstly when I listen an see AMV, secondly when I check lyrics... "Ado are you ok?" - that's all I could think about at that moment. I think it is saddest and anxious song from her 4. "Rule" - maybe the most aggressive song from her 5. Entire album with song for anime One Peace film Red 6. "Rebelion" - AMV looks like entire anime 7. "Crime & Punishment" - cover on Shina Ringo`s song, that concentrate attantion on her vocal (your ears must be ready) 9. "Odo" - she tries on the role of DJ 10. "God-ish" - while listening firstly I thought that there ~10 vocalist 11. "I`m controversy" - playing around interesting sound effects 13. "Kick back" - "cover" on Chainsaw-man op with surprise 15. "Villain Utattemita" - a cover of a song with lyrics in English and Korean. 16. "Gira gira" - contains powerfull lyrics. I advice to watch AMVs firstly instead live version or advances subs version, because it contains a part of meaning There are no all Ado`s songs present on the official channel. Ado is currently my favorite vocalist from Japan. She's Utaite so no one from public knows how she looks like. When it comes to this song I have such interpretation. It's a song about a girl or something else that demands love from others. In chorus "Aishite, aishite, aishite" those words mean "Love me, love me, love me". I suggest You watch the Live version of this song. 😃

Ado is insanely talented. I did see her live, and I can say that her voice live is insane. This is a cover song, but even her covers are way better (in my opinion) compared to the original. If you want to see more of her crazy vocal range, check out Godish and Crime & Punishment.

Whenever I listen to this song, as with most Ado songs, I think of character singing and dancing. This one is a girl with multiple personalities though and she's fighting with herself.

The story seems of an emotionally immature, maybe once abused, woman going crazy over not receiving the attention she demands from the man she chose. This is a long sentence, but I hope you understand. In Japanese, there are two similar words, 愛(ai) and 恋(koi）. "愛(Ai)" is the English word love. 4:33 Yes, but I wouldn't say that P!ATD takes inspiration from Japanese music per se (or not in the way you're outlining here, at least), and it isn't really that you're "hearing P!ATD". Rather, I think it'd be more accurate to say that in this song specifically, _as well as_ in P!ATD, you're hearing similar references to some of the same old-timey, early 20th century, retro musical styles like music hall, ballroom dance, early jazz or swing music. So in other words, they both come from the same musical lineage, and both contain a lot of homages to those sounds. P!ATD does it most notably on Death of a Bachelor, but also in the rest of their discography generally; and this song, which is at a base level a waltz, takes obvious inspiration from those genres too. It's honestly pretty reminiscent of some early 20th century circus music with the accordion and stuff, and has some specific similarities with a track like King of the Clouds, I'd say.

some of Ados unhinged screams in this one really give me Janis Joplin vibes (though that might speak more to my superficial ignorant know ledge of her than anything else XD ) Ado does a lot of cover song, but also has a album and a couple more of her own songs (though I am unsure about the minutia of their production process), as well as an album that is a film-soundtrack - she sing while each song is composed and produced by another famous composer/artist [Utas songs for One Piece Film Red]
