Adobe Animate Bug - Anchor Points Being Added to Vector Art Unintentionally

I forgot to mention in the video that changing the Preferences Menu's Drawing setting for Smooth Curves, Recongize Lines, and Recongize Shapes to "Off" doesn't make any difference and the issue still persists.

To avoid additional anchor points in the object, do not select parts of the object. If you want to make an animation with a shape, then drag the arrow over the existing points.

@@MrAlejo58 unfortunately, even if you edit the bezier handles of existing points, new points are still created sometimes as the video demonstrates. Granted moving the existing points instead of their bezier handles could be a workaround however this means you have less control over the curves of the shape.

@@LostPostProductions I have been using shape for a long time and I change the shape in the following frames not with the help of bezier curves, but simply drag with the arrow to select.
