Adobe Creek Crappie and Walleye Fishing; Fishful Thinker TV

Adobe Creek Reservoir, also known as Blue Lake, is a great Colorado fishery...when it has water! The State Wildlife Area is famous for it's boom and bust cycles due to water fluctuations that cause it to go almost dry every so often. When it fills though, the fishery is very fertile and kicks out large numbers of edible sizeable fish. On our visit, it was extremely hot, calm and sunny and the lake was getting a bunch of fishing pressure. That didn't stop the fish from biting though and we even caught a bunch of walleyes with only a few feet of line out.
