Fishing for Wild Colorado Walleye in a Reservoir That Isn't Even Supposed to Have Them Living In It!

On this episode of Fishing with Lance it's one of my favorite times of the year and that is opening day up at one of my favorite reservoirs to fish in all of Colorado! On this adventure our target species is Walleye but before we find them we end up catching Brown Trout and Cutbows!

My guess is somebody's uncle decided to catch a bunch of spawners and brought them there, or had access to some fingerlings and did some non-state-sponsored stocking. Great video, beautiful country! I just got done with a perch/gill/crappie ever cast kind of weekend from shore here in ND. Can't wait for the river levels to finally go down here so I can go after some walters. Keep it up, your production quality gets better every video and it's impressive to watch!

Looks like N Or S ctmt at PPM. caught lots of trout there but never targeted walleye. I think I follow you on angler as well. Tight lines Brother

This lakes reminds me of Fall River res or Chinns I know it’s not just the scene of it Went to prewitt last night with my three boys Got into some walleye and cats Gonna be leaving in a hour to head up to black lakes Iykyk Tight lines!!

Just amazing! Species not stocked and self-populating, and you think it's intelligent to keep these fish? Just unbelievable! Looks like saugeye, so not sure if they reproduce, but put the trout back and keep the eyes? Go to Boulder res if you want eyes for dinner.
