Hi Dan! Love your videos and have done lots of your courses on skillshare so thanks for that! I have 2 things that I absolutely would love on the iPad illustrator app that I feel like we’re missing right now. Offset path and the recolour artwork feature. For me those 2 things would be a gamechanger and I could basically start working with the iPad on the go.

If I have created an artboard already and I would want to resize the same artboard into another dimension without creating a new document, how do I do it? 2. If I want to expand the text into a vector, how do I do that? Also, I would be interested in a video about "the difference between desktop version & iPad version of illustrator" Thanks. I'm really liking Adobe Illustrator on the iPad so far. I'm really hoping that Apple's move to Silicon will push Adobe to create the rest of their products for not just the iPad, but also for Silicon since they will be able to work with each other. It's kind of a huge changer. I do enjoy the differences, makes more.. sense? I did hook a mouse and keyboard and noticed that some of the shortcuts went through, but not others, for example, the space button to move around the canvas doesn't work, I have to pinch in and out. Which is okay for now. This has me wanting to upgrade to the pro 12.9. I'm currently using the cheapy iPad 9.7, and I don't have much real estate. Thanks Dan! you've been a huge help from photoshop to AE!

I would like to know if maybe in the future the will incorporate the “image trace” and “expand” options. As I make stickers this is one feature I use the most on desktop to help me create the perfect outline for my stickers.

thank you Dan for this! I've just opened this up on my iPad...it'll take a while for me as I "lived" in the desktop versions for years. It would be nice if they can figure out the "trace" image. And on the type...I couldn't really kern the fonts, as you can on the desktop. Any ideas? "Pattern" feature is cool too, although it would be nice if it the repeated image can stagger, like fabric designs. Maybe wait for next year...?

thanks for the amazing tutorial and the app review, Dan! a couple of questions for you: - how's the experience working in Illustrator without keyboard shortcuts? for instance, switching between preview and outlines? that cmd+Y is muscle memory now and tapping an icon for it every time feels like a longer workflow :) - also, what size of ipad pro are you using -- 11 or 12 inches? do you feel cramped with space if something like the Properties panel is open and you're working on the canvas? Thanks!

I don't thing Illustrator will ever be as efficient as on the PC anywhere else. It might be good for some doodling and to have a great time, but serious work won't move there in my opinion

Depends on your profession and how you integrate it, I'm sure there will be heaps of people that find it really useful :)

Define "serious work"? Personally I think once the app is feature complete, it'll crap all over the desktop version in so many ways. Just look at how productive Affinity Designer is on the iPad.
