Every time I try to use the clipping mask it makes the object see through? So for example, I have a yellow polka dot patter that I want to put over a pink square every time I select them and opt to use a clipping mask the pink square turns into a square of yellow polka dots? So it has clipped but it’s removed the colour layer underneath? Can anyone help please?

I can't tell which iPad size is this from the video... :) I'm considering the new iPad Pro though I'm a little concern about having small menus and icons in the 11" model.

I just want to say congratulations in illustrator for the iPad I am legally blind and physically impaired and would love to have the master class course if possible thank you. I cut with a laser cutter in illustrator is the standard program of choice for laser cutter individuals My question is as follows we use to create objects in illustrator sent to back in the pad the Pathfinder do we have these things available currently for the iPad or is it only for illustrator traditionally on windows or Mac thank you so much

Illustrator is quite close to the desktop version, can't say the same for Photoshop app though.. however I noticed that after working for about an hour on it, it started being a bit slow and buggy..

What if I had a strange idea about the WIDTH TOOL? How come you do NOT have that on the iPad-Pro? Well, you do have that but not so good! You have ONLY five different options. Why is this?

Just downloaded the trial, I’ve always loved the original desktop version, but this was so disappointing. Janky pen tool (can’t close shapes properly), have to wait for stroke width variance options, no ‘corner rounding’, smart guides missing too. These are fundamental tools for me

Good job, first of all. I saw bunch of people showing that the clipping mask works different...reversed...drawing the content of the mask, on top of the object that you will create the mask with. Is there a way to use it that way?
