This is insane, a lot more easier and even better looking alternative for a portfolio. I used to make my own in inDesign and save it on pdf and a lot of work with that. For motion content projects there was no way to make it in pdf..no clips attached no gifs no animations. Basically this is the way, thank you for this idea!

Could you please slow down. Some of us need more of a step by step breakdown of the process. It's hard to follow what you're clicking on and what exactly you're doing. I would add a graphic level that DIVIDES each step and and gives the viewer a description and locates with arrows or circles that help guide visually (maybe a number) this could also be a sidebar with a synopsis. It's a great portfolio builder but the nomenclature is confusing and the support site is awkward and cumbersome and not user friendly..

If you already have a domain, Adobe will give you the info to change the A records so your Portfolio website is portrayed as at your domain. Thank Jesse. I haven't worked out yet how to somehow add a shopping cart for digital downloads.

To my knowledge, behance has some social-media-esque perks and allows other designers to engage with your work where a normal portfolio is just a gallery

I use Adobe Portfolio and love it. Sure it may not have EVERY feature ever, but it is free and helps keep down on costs.

@@AlanHofman Yes, but not the whole package. I get Creative Cloud through my work, but didn't want to use that account to create my portfolio. So I bought my own CC account but I chose the basic package, I believe it's the photographer package. It just comes with Photoshop and Portfolio. $10 or 15 a month I believe

Nope. But the benefit is you can publish a project on your portfolio and have it on behance as well.

I wish they had the blog option as well where I can publish my thoughts or tutorials. Now I have to get my visitors go to some other platform like medium. That's to only reason I don't go for behance portfolio. Easier to drive traffic to your site when you have a blog.

I want very much to continue using Adobe Portfolio. However, there are some pesky quirks that I cannot seem to find work arounds for. Specifically: the logo. Apparently, I can either have text *OR* an image. There is no option to have both, as in an icon/logo/image file with clear text laid out next to, above/below, etc. Similarly, while Adobe gives me options for what the logo section does on rollover, responsive (mobile), again: i'm hemmed in by the EITHER/OR nature of text OR image. Think: Have text displayed on desktop/wide view, but below responsive threshold, have the text switch to an icon. All of which may sound trivial. But its a few of these annoying design (IMO) omissions that keeps me rolling my own in Bootstrap.

Yes! You can upload your images from your computer without using or connecting Behance or Lightroom even though they suggest you to do it in order to create tons of content right away.
