Changing "Time Interpolation" to Optical Flow in export setting also adds to the smoothness of effects & transitions
@Muhammed.Yaseen2 жыл бұрын
That is only when the frame rate of the source clip and the export frame rate doesn't match. For example if both are 30fps, that setting doesn't do anything. But if you have a 30 fps clip that is set to 50% speed in a 30 fps project, the video will be choppy. To decrease this choppiness, (lack of ample frames) we can turn on Time Interpolation. This will make it smoother in such circumstances. Maybe you did know this, but I thought it might help a random comment reader. 😁

thanks for the preview tip, i was tripping about that; original clips were h264, i made pro res proxies so they were glitching lol. thanks fr for the tip!!!

This was a fine video but I'd like a more in depth explanation about what the stuff actually means. What is an mpeg vs mov? What does Apple pro res mean? Sure, you want to use it and that's how you set your settings, but WHY?

Maximum Render Quality If the images you are editing are the same size as the images you shot, turn this off. Or, if you are editing highly-compressed codecs, such as AVCHD or H.264, turn this off. If you shoot images at one size, say 4K, but edit at another, say, HD, turn this on.
