I bought this bike for my wife as her first bike. She won’t outgrow anytime soon which is great. The abs feature for is price made me truly lean into it as I won’t always be with her for rides. I will say this bike is fun to ride. It’s so light and makes you want to push more out of it.

Like I ride a cb500f, 2nd gear ends at 90kmh, I reach the speed limits on the backroads here when I shift to third. And no bit of the 3rd gear is even being used if you want to ride legally but spirited. Sure you can be edgy and ride at 3rd gear's limiter, but 4, 5 and 6th gear are only asleep the whole time. And I also have the Autobahn 5mins away right, I've done vMax on my bike. Sure a 1000cc bike will do another 130kmh more. But riding in a straight line is boring imo, and then you think about how many idiots on the road it's not worth it... The only time I could edge a bike was at my 125cc days where you're capping the first 3 gears in the city, it the back road and (my bike at least) was finished at 5th gear doing shy above 100. That was fun, and I bet if I had gotten better tires the bike might have been somewhat close to it's limits.@@domenik8339

I know you would love it. I got mine because I didn’t want to spend 12k on the zx4rr. I just want to say I’m 100% happier I went with the CFmoto. The features are better and because it’s cheap you can over look a lot of the small things (which there’s not many). Reliability has been spot on and someone in a Facebook group has 25k miles on his. Shits mint and I can’t recommend that bike enough👌🏼

But at the same time you know as well as me that the good majority of bikers who have a good portion of time under their asses would dub the bike as bad before ever seeing one because it "only makes" 70ish hp, whilst costing >10k

@@Fee.1 completely fair to compare thanks to the safety features you save $ on insurance and realistically you only need maybe 2 anti theft devices a chain and a disk lock with an alarm and you’ll be set. I got a ninja 650 and had to get 2 different types of alarms, 2 trackers, a chain lock, and a disk lock. Just off that alone the CFMoto is better but I love my ninja and if it is stolen it’s a paid off bike so with the insurance check I’ll be able to replace it but knock on wood I never have to go through that 🙏🏾

This bike has topped out at a 139 mph for some riders on KZbin a little less for heavier riders...134 mph how is that slow? Also I have already hit 100 mph quickly if you learn to shift at rev points. This CF Moto 450SS bike will blow past a Honda CBR500R no problem

@@JessicaSimonson1976 No, this bike does not hit high 130's. On flat, myself being 5'8 and 170, it capped at 123. I've put 2.5k miles in 3 months on this bike, and have topped it out many of time. Also, don't know where the negativity came from, I love this bike, I just want a 1000cc bike. And yes I'm very familiar with "rev points".

@@Alarak. I had a alert for high rev reminder ( while I was on the john) looked out my window and saw my bike was gone. Located it with the app, and was there in 15 mins. They ditched the bike. Beat the cops there, told them I was carrying and they should hurry. I was pissed. Have to replace the ignition, heat shield for my exhaust (don't know why that's gone). They also took off the rear mount for the plates and turn signals (which I'm not gonna replace, just mounted my plate.) Shit was wild.

I've done 14,000kms on it so I think from a usage standpoint I have some pretty good grounds to have an opinion now.. my 450SR has also been tuned and I've had not a single issue and it's still just as fun as the day I got it, it's such a nimble bike you can throw through corners quite well, no issues to report back as of now

What are your opinions on the stock tires? Did you swap them out or are they still on? Did you ride in the canyons with them? I keep hearing from FB cfmoto 450ss group chat that they do not like the tires. A lot of them are new riders so I take a lot of what they say with a grain of salt. As someone who’s been riding motorcycles for 8 years all on 600 or bigger, sometimes I feel like dropping down to something like this, the zx400rr or the R7 something appealing about having a bike that you can wring out the gears instead of first gear bringing you close to 100 lol 😂 I get so board on the street sometimes.
