When Mick Jagger was asked about Paul Rogers vocals he replied " he's never sang a bad note in his life " . One of the most under rated singers in rock for sure !

Love your reaction! It’s so cool that people who didn’t grow up hearing this music are now listening to it . This song played on the radio all the time when I grew up in the 80’s . Inwas born in 77 . The year it came out . Woo hoo 🤩I couldn’t afford every tape I wanted . So I would wait for it to play and hit record on my boom box 🤣. This song is still on almost all my playlists. Bad Company is one of my favorite bands ever . Paul Rodgers is my favorite vocalist of all time ! That voice requires no doctorin’ to sound incredible!

I love it when you young guys discover great singers and bands. I been listening to these cats for at least 35 years. The singer is Paul Rodgers. He sung for a band called Free, then Bad Co. and a few years back he was singing with Queen. Keep rockin brother

I'm very surprised that BAD CO. Isn't in the R&Roll Hall of Fame. They have over 2 dozen good song and some are great . Paul Rodgers and the band need to be rewarded for the memories. Blues Rock is the best

Love me some Bad Company... great group with tons of songs. "Feel Like Makin Love", "Simple Man", "Seagull", "Running with the Pack", "Fade Away", "Rock N Roll Fantasy", and of course "Bad Company". Paul Rodgers is "The Voice".

I understand that "The Voice" was his actual nickname. Said it was impossible for him to hit a bad note regardless of how tired, drunk, etc. he was.

From the day I first heard it within days of its release in ‘76 when I bought the “Run With The Pack” album (on the old 8-track format), the Bad Co song “SIMPLE MAN” instantly became one of my favorites and most played of all Bad Co songs! Love that song (and every other Bad Company song from their Paul Rodgers’ era)! There’s not a bad nor mediocre song on all 6 albums! ALL of them are GEMS! Many of them are genuine TIMELESS MASTERPIECES!

Mr Adogg I just enjoy your reactions to the many music videos that you do. I like that you ask your subscribers to help you out with the names of the musicians in the group maybe a backstory. I also dig how you mix up the many genres. I must be very Frank I think I enjoy your reactions most to the 70s bands. How your eyes light up when you hear the 70 bands. Because you're not afraid to mix it up from country, blues, metal, everything and anything this is what makes you stand out from all the other reactioners on KZbin. Much respect and thank you.

Good observation about it sounding like the blues. Many rock bands of the 70's were very influenced by Mississippi Delta blues and Chicago blues from Chess records.

Bad Company are a British rock supergroup which was formed in Albury, Surrey in 1973 by singer Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs, drummer Simon Kirke, and later adding bassist Boz Burell. Peter Grant, who managed Led Zepplin, also managed Bad Company until 1982 (Wikipedia) Here's there #1 Hit "Bad Company - Can't Get Enough (Official Music Video)"

Great reaction, man! Was cool watching you get excited about Paul Rogers' clean set of pipes. Like you, he's in my top three. But check this out: Paul left the band for a time, as did Mick Ralphs (lead guitarist) , etc. Once, for a while, there was a guy named Brian Howe (may he R.I.P.) who took Rogers' place. And like Paul, he had a HUGE set of pipes on him. I mean this cat can SING! Check out Holy Water. Man, that song rocks, and Howe shows off his tremendous vocal range. I think you'll like this one =)

If you want to hear him belt to soulful then you have got to watch his live performance and the 1994 Woodstock of the song Bad Company. He’s not performing with the band but on his own with other musicians. It’s f’ing incredible!

Actually, it all started for Rodgers and Kirke in 1968 with Free's debut album. Have a listen to 'Worry' or 'Moonshine' and you will see what I mean. Free were a far better band than Bad Company, in my opinion.
