Have you tried the DNA Detectives on Facebook? They have search Angels that help adoptees find and make contact with bio parents. My cousin is a search Angel and she found my bio dad. I did a lot of work as well.

To add to that message, I have a half uncle and half 1st Cousin that helped prove his half brother is my bio dad

How do you know the cousins are not on your mom's side?

L Lamb I have already done extensive research on my birth mother’s side. Plus I can tell based on the last names and who I already have DNA relation to that is on my birth mothers side. Ancestry shows any shared DNA matches you have with someone which really helps with figuring out who is on which side :)

Update regarding the status of your search? Btw, you said near the end that they don't think ithat they are your birth father but if they're married they might be concerned regarding the reaction of their "current" wife/kids.

Douglas Croucher yes big update coming in the next (few weeks) or so ideally! Had to take a break from this process but I have some big finds to share. Thanks for the nudge and yes what you said does tend to discourage people accepting paternity unfortunately.
