PRAISE THE LORD FOR HE GIVES BEAUTIFUL GIFTS. What a blessing to hear your story and what the Lord provided for you all. It reminds me of our daughter Alyssa and how the Lord has placed adoption on her heart at a young age. She told the man she married that is what God has for them. They haven't yet done it but it's still so deep upon her heart. She got pregnant several months after getting married and we prayed her through that pregnancy. She had hyperemisses so bad she couldn't keep anything down the first 6 months so they placed a pick line in her arm to feed her meds until she could deliver. God gave them a precious baby girl and she says she will be adopting the rest of her children. She is also a music teacher so the Lord brings alot of children into her life. She wants older children as well. Thanks so much for sharing your story, you had me in tears many times. God bless your amazing family.

Your children are truly blessed to have you for parents and it's so easy to see how blessed you are by having them in your lives. My dad adopted me when I was in my 40's; he met my mom when I was three months old but due to a long, dangerous ordeal he was not able to adopt me and then one day I asked him and a few days later he had an attorney and then we had a court date and I was adopted. His name is now on my birth certificate where there never was one before. I will ALWAYS be thankful to GOD for bringing my dad into my life; he is the BEST daddy a girl could ever ask for. GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

Hi Joanne! Great question! When I first met Kelly, I wondered the same thing! I didn't know where she was from, but I knew I was in love!;) Kelly's dad Patrick is Thai and Japanese, Kelly's mom Lorena is Dominican and Puerto Rican, Great Grandma Abuelita is Dominican and Spaniard. My background is English, Irish, and German. Our adopted kiddos are a mix of Mexican and Guatemalan, and some form of caucasian for Haven. We have been living this beautiful life with all our kiddos since 2016, for the longest I didn't want to share our story because I didn't want people to think we adopted kids to be able to tell a story, or for people's opinions or doubts to hold us back.. but it has been so beautiful for so long, finally the Lord put it strongly on my heart that I had to share our story, but not for us, only to God's glory! I understand your concern though, if we were just putting on a show it would be very sad, and Im sure there are circumstances like that. However, I can assure you that is not the case in our family.
