Wasudeo, Rajesh and ors v Parwatibai and ors case as here it has been stated that a child adopted by the widow is not entitled to inherit property of the deceased father. It is a recent judgement of Bombay high court. Can give browny points in exams...

In section 11 point 2. Widow's daughter if she is there then a couple can adopt. Well there can be a scenario where widow is living with her parents and having a daughter or son.
