Only 5 days old, a rare, endangered Western lowland gorilla baby was born on the 24th of September 2016 at the Twycross Zoo in Atherstone, England. The little one named Shufai is cradled by its proud mum Ozala ( 22 years old ) with dad Oumbi ( 24 years old) not far away.
The video shows the cheeky brother Lope's ( 4 years old) reaction to the newborn. Pounding his chest, circling around mum and baby and even poking the mum.
It's 2020 and looking back on this video how it all started. If you haven't seen my latest videos. Have a look, as Shufai is starting to turn the tables. Lope just wants some peace, but his little brother just wants to play. They are typical brothers, some days they annoy each other, and other times you see that they really do care about each other.

I remember 3 years ago when I used to go to the San Francisco Zoo and I was so happy to see the baby gorilla there. I loved seeing him grow up from the arm of a mother to rolling around in the grass and jumping over logs. About 2.5 years ago I heard on the news about “Toddler Gorilla at San Francisco Zoo Suffocates and Dies.” It seriously melted my heart to see that gorilla go.
