Good ideas by Sarah to use painter's tape. Every time I see a project idea of ANY complexity, experienced woodworkers are either using painters tape or double sided tape. My preference is a hot glue gun over double side tape - but that's me.

Literally our thought, but we can't seem to find our hot glue gun. only reason we didn't use it.
