I have watched your video at least 25 times . Thanks for creating this . It is the most appealing of all the dyi videos . Can I have the measurements, please ? I am really a beginner trying to display all her mugs .

Hello, oh wow this is so cool. I need one of those. We collect mugs and cups so much that there is not enough room in the cabinets for them lol. Years ago I would have needed three of those wall holders lol. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

Hello. That's funny. Apparently it's quite common for people to collect mugs. Somebody approached me at our church and asked if I would make them one. Definitely a good idea for displaying mugs or actively using them.

@@LandtoHouse Yes it is common and my mom use to collect salt and pepper shakers and display them in the kitchen :) That is cool and so economical. Yeah I like just about any mug and my son and daughter in law collect batman, joker, Harley Quinn, star wars, and there is a PlayStation mug also, so we tend to have alot, but it is all good. 😃👍

Bruh. This is great. I was looking into buying one for Xmas for my mother but I think I'll save me that good chunk of money and do it myself because those aren't cheap!! I'm thinking I'll probably stain mine a dark grey. Thanks for this.

@@LandtoHouse Yeah for sure, I am a paint contractor so painting/staining comes natural for me. Dabble in some light carpentry but have never attempted to build something like this, I will give it a try. Thanks again.

Hey all, I believe the measurements would be as follows, knowing 1x4 is actually 3/4x3-3/4 - There are 9 spaces across, which are 6 in. each (54 in.) and 10 1x4s that are 3/4 in wide (7.5 in) - While cutting the longer inside pieces, he said they were 34.5 inches, which means the length of the outside short pieces would be 34.5 + two 1x4s that are 3/4 wide (1.5 in). Two outside longer pieces = 61.5 inches each Two outside shorter pieces = 36 inches each Eight longer inside pieces = 34.5 inches each Thirty-six inside short pieces = 6 inches each Let me know if you believe there is an error or if you try this. Unfortunately, the one I build will have two fewer rows.

Harbor Freight has a brad nailer that will also drive staples. I use brad nails in place of finishing nails. I use it for staples too.The cost is between 15 and 25 dollars depending on the sale. I believe it is currently $15. I just finished a project with mine.

You could have hid the L brackets by flipping them upside down. They then would have been hidden behind the wood.
@LandtoHouse
@LandtoHouse 5 жыл бұрын
We thought about that and decided that some nice trim would look nice on the edge so we left the brackets down.

So....if 1x4s are about 3/4 in thick in actuality...then the length of the long outer horizontal pieces must be 61.5 inches??? And you have 6 inches in between each board, is my math correct? lol

Thanks for nothing Pal. My wife just saw this and now she wants one. What is the length you used for the horizontal frame pieces, you said your vertices are 3 ft., symmetrically the top and bottom SHOULD be 5 ft. Am I close????? Thanks, simple, inexpensive and efficient. (Get a nailer)

Haha your welcome :) I go through the same thing with my wife. The horizontal sections are all little pieces. They were slightly different sizes because I did not get the vertical exactly equal.

Should add up to 5.125 ft for the horizontal pieces.
