I love all your animals, I think they’re a really lovely pack but Phil just touches my heart in a way I can’t explain. He’s just the best boy and he dotes on those children. Phil is such a sweetie! Reminds me of our family dogs when my brothers and I were younger. We had a cockapoo named Champ who basically decided that my middle older brother was his puppy. We have pictures of him standing on his hind legs to check in the crib. After Champ came Lady, a retriever mix who saw me as her puppy. She would bristle whenever a stranger came close but never once hurt me, even when toddler me played a little rough. Dogs really are the best!

Phil’s face is just like my Malamute’s face was and he was great with my grandkids who he only met a couple of times first when they (twins) were very small and then we looked after them for 10 days when they were 10 months old. They were using my boy to pull themselves up to standing position when he was lying down. He’d just groan and lie down and let them do it. Gentle as they come. Seeing Phil’s face is like looking at my dog again who died by snake bite 4 years ago. I miss him so he was my favourite dog I ever owned and I’ve had some amazing dogs. He just won the no 1 position because he and I were virtually inseparable and I didn’t have to share him with other family members he was my dog and when my kids visited he loved the them too. Thanks for sharing.
