I study psychology and human behaviorism and thoroughly understand why humans behave the way they do, and what prompts certain behaviors. and how to curb certain behaviors by using speech. Humans are incredibly fascinating, are we ARE worth understanding.

I also have studied psychology. i am a therapist and I know well enough to know that while I can understand a lot about people and how they think, I also know there is a lot that I will never understand. Think you are being a little over-judgmental and pompous. I would suggest that the people that thumbs downed this video, and many other innocuous, adorable videos that people have taken a lot of time to offer, is that it has nothing to do with the video or its creator. It has to do with the critic and their self-esteem.

+S. O. Rooney As someone else who has studied psychology, I have to think that it may be a matter of definition. That is, someone might thumbsdown this or any other video, not because they actively dislike it, but simply because they didn't find it especially amusing (I certainly did, by the way). What I'm saying is, each individual might be interpreting the thumbing in different ways, different degrees. Still and all, I also wonder. People do things for reasons, whatever they may be, and being curious about those reasons is quite understandable.

Someone on Facebook shared this video a few days ago, but not my original! They shared an extracted video! They got 6 million hits on facebook!!!! Well, facebook removed it for copyright infringement, but there's no way to regain the views! If you like the video please share with your friends, and let's see if the original can go viral as did the copy! Thank you all! (And please, educate your friends - it's easier to link to a youtube link and give credit, why extract a video and post as your own? That just seems a bit wrong!)

I do this with my cat too. He hides under my bed and waits for me to go..Then I go ito another room and wait for him to come...Once he comes I "scare" him and he runs away again to hide...He adores that...And I especially like when he pretends that he is hiding and he is right in front of me...Hilarious :) Both you and your kitten are adorable :)

This is absolutely the cutest thing I have seen in months! The way you two interact is just wonderful - You "chase" Buttons, then Buttons "chases" You; after a while you can't tell who's chasing who! I would love to see some more if you have time and are so inclined. Buttons is beyond adorable. He is going to have SUCH a great life (already does)! I just adopted a 6 year-old tuxedo a few months ago. She thinks she's too sophisticated for games like this, but I'm not, so I keep trying to coax her to play. Little by little, I'm making good cat-progress. I wish Buttons and Yourself a very long and happy fun--filled life. Dennis

It's understandable, and sad, that so many people express concern about behaving "childishly" when you are a grown person. Our society is really uptight, insecure and judgmental. But I say don't let the narrow-minded, mean attitude of others keep you from having fun, being free, and enjoying life! I feel joy when I see a "grown man" behaving so "childishly." +S. O. Rooney There's a difference between child-ish and child-like. Greg most certainly isn't childish, I know you agree. He's having childlike fun with his kitten as all us cat lovers do. I'm almost 70 and I still play goofy with my cats too. Play time is important for all mammals, from elephants to dolphins to people, of any age. Adults who do not know how to play, are truly sad.
