I’m excited! It seems little like Monster Hunter Stories which I LOVE. Can’t wait for it to hit Switch because even if I have a gaming PC, I literally only ever use it for work. I just need to lay in bed when I play lol

6:16 You can double press the Home button to enable the zoom function. You might not be able to actually play like this since it cuts off parts of the screen, but it might make the text more comfortable to read.

You can eat mid battle any food you have to heal and if the food is holy, it removes the curse of creatures

I was going to buy this until you mentioned the text size. It's a deal breaker for me as trying to read tiny text gives me a headache. Honestly, I can barely read some of the text on my 42 inch TV. God knows how tiny it must appear on the switch in handheld

If you have trouble reading small text you can double press the Home button to enable Zoom. At least in order to read. Playing might be difficult since it cuts off parts of the screen.

Unfortunately I only have the switch light. So small font I'm handhold mode is a instant non buy. It baffles me that a lot of companies don't have readable font on hand held mode.

Same here. Can't read anything, can barely see the monsters on screen before they attack. The size scaling of things makes 0 sense to me.

Definitely looking forward to picking this one up. I'm curious - how's the replay value? I heard the game started out as a roguelite, but most of those aspects were removed (to make it easier to keep monsters long term I think?), which is fine - but I'm concerned it may also make the game less replayable. Hopefully that's not the case, but thought I'd ask since you've already been hands on with the game. Thanks!

I heard its a similar thing to Children Of Morta. A story, permanent progression, but randomly generated (with random upgrades during your "run") dungeons.

the POV is diablo style but there's not enough loot to have that diablo style draw. imagine if you could ceck your critters out in armor and weapons, THAT would be addictive.

I have an unrelated question to this vid, I’m hoping you guys may know the answer?; I have a Switch registered as the Primary, this has My account and my Sons. I also have a Secondary Switch, and I’m the only account on this. Currently I pay for all the downloads, and my son plays them on the Primary. We’ve had mixed success in playing local CoOp games, where I’m using a Physical copy, and my Son is playing the downloaded game on the Primary, a number of the games state that he has to have an email address linked to his account. If I create an email account for him, and link it to his account, will he still be able to play the downloaded games that he hasn’t paid for on the Primary device? Are there any pitfalls I can go down here, just want to be able to play some of these games together?

it can be a little uncomfortable, but you can use the zoom to be able to read the texts on the Switch Lite

Two thing I dislike about this game, first you never know if you already captured a monster or not, second you always need to farm ressource to capture and get upgrade your stable

Pretty good overall. When checking the creatures at the stable, the animations did have a few frame drops but a patch released whilst I was reviewing the game. Haven’t really noticed it anymore

I played it on Steam long time ago. I don't remember if was still in early access but I didn't liked it. I didn't liked the small maps, and gameplay. Difficulty felt forced. I got my money back before 24 hours. Maybe now is better. But no interested anymore.

63/100 on Metacritic so far. I think the problem with Pokemon style games is that I'd rather just play Pokemon. Too bad Scarlet & Violet are absolute garbage.

I say skip it...I own it, but I am not feeling it. Feels kinda bland and unfinished. Mostly you just kinda shoot your animals out and call them back over and over. It might get deeper later on but it didn't put it's best foot forward in my opinion. Also YOU die when your creatures lose all of their HP and get hit which is just annoying. There's also little things like no satisfying sound when you crash through the pots, no sound at all in fact, just makes the game feel cheap. The graphics are kind of pleasant, reminds me of a mix of Hobb or Torchlight(same dev made both games) and one + is it gets you right into the gameplay which I find a lot of games just babble forever before letting you actually play.

action combat for monster battle genre, most are turn based ones so this refreshing
