These sounds are money. On our second set of the first day ever calling hogs we called in 5 pissed off hogs using Pig Slop and Feeding Pigs. What an experience that was, thanks MFK, will definitely be buying more sounds in the future.

MFK GameCalls, have you ever tried your hog sounds for calling coyotes, bobcats, or bears? Just curious. Several years ago I was gifted a 3 call set of open reed hand calls, from another call maker. These calls have side-by-side "split" or "double" reeds over twin air channels. Anyway, he included instructions for creating various hog sounds. And I tried using the sounds a few times, calling coyotes. And a few times it worked. Ever since, I have wondered if I simply got lucky those times that it worked.😁😎

First, do you know there's Coyotes in the area your hunting? If yes, then if you cant call em in at night your doing something wrong.

That was awesome! I'm just starting to look into this as something to do during the day. I'm going hog hunting in April in TX. I went last June and was bow hunting them on feeders in the dark. That was my first time doing it. It was a blast, but I want some daytime action and this video has me all charged up! I'm paying for access to property, but otherwise self-guided/DIY. The outfitter's a gun hunter and he said he's never tried anything like this. I love calling anything, so this is gonna be fun! Do you guys ever use decoys, and what's your opinion on them?

Thanks! You should have good luck calling them in TX, just try to get fairly close to where you think they are. We’ve used decoys for predators in the past but I’m not a fan of decoys most of the time. We never use them for hogs.

Hey Skip, our land is now being overrun with hogs. (Unfortunately someone south of us released them onto their hunting property a few years back, and we have no predator population to keep them from running rampant.) Anyways, we have 3,000 acres an hour west of Birmingham. You are welcome to come hunt them for free. It would help us out immensely. Otherwise, my non-hunting self will wind up doing it.

How long do you run each set for?

Not long, probably around 5 mins but we are calling thickets we know the hogs are in from either hearing them squeal or seeing the fresh rooting. If blind calling I’d probably call 10 mins or more. Thanks for watching!

It will not play on your phone. The file is encrypted for use with any Foxpro ecall. You will need to download it to your Foxpro to play it.
