He was perfection. Another gem from Brazil. At the 2005 confederations he was awsome alongside Ronaldinho n Robinho... it was a dream attack seeing them starting together. At the 2006wc i expected him to b the main striker for Brazil but Ronaldo stuck around n Adriano was dropped to the bench. Dropping Adriano n Robinho was the end for Brazil .... they provided soo much power in attack n Brazil had no chance... even with Ronaldo9 n Dinho the team needed Adriano n Robinho...and that is how Adriano missed the chance to win the 2006wc. Kaka n Juninho should have been the one to be dropped to the bench n make way for Adriano and Robinho to play alongside Dinho and Ronaldo. Scolari wanted to bring him to Chelsea but he opted to remain at Intermilan. I believe Scolari would have helped him get over the mourning period that affected Adriano... he needed a father figure to help him snap out of the death of his dad and who better than Scolari... sadly that is how he missed the chance to win the UCL. If he had joined Chelsea the team would have been stronger in attack. He seems to also have problems accepting his new reality of being successful n nolonger living in the Favela.... that too would have been solved by Scolari He mentions about Family🤣🤣 but they will not like u when you r broke.
