How to Connect Xiaomi Mi Home Security Camera 360 to the Mobile Phone via Wifi

For everyone who is having difficulty on scanning the QR code from your phone (stuck on "waiting for connection") this worked for me after over an hour trying to scan the qr: 1. screenshot the qr code on your mi home app 2. open the screenshot image and zoom 3. place the phone in front of the camera 5 to 12 inches away (change distance everytime it says "waiting for connection") 4. Instead of placing the phone in a standing position 90 degrees, change it to 45 degrees (slanting/diagonal position facing the camera) - yep, it worked. IF No. 4 didn't work: 5. Screenshot the qr code, send it to a computer and zoom it there then let the camera scan it. 100% working

There are two very similar looking cameras to choose, try the other one and it prompts you to scan the barcode. I did the wrong one and it just failed in the last bit of connecting.
