I have three of these at home. Sooo useful. I could have bought some cheaper ones but it was just practical as I had other Mi smart devices set up. The newer model for this has a gold ring around the lens.

How many Resolution mode are there in the camera? Does it support 480P too? Is the resolution mode easily changeable from app? I am asking coz i have wireless router setup. Thus, speed needs to be limited. Quality is not priority, but should be changable to 1080p at press of button.

you can make the camera read the code very fast by paring the phone with tv mirroring and let the camera read the code in the big screen very fast

This Camera get s a lot of bad reviews, but i think its mostly down to the user i had a bit of a nightmare to set up camera, it would not connect to server "Connected, no internet" but it was my own fault as i had VPN connected (same happens with Google Chromecast). For 30 euros, this is a great camera. Though when you set detection to "Low" (for bigger movements) it will record the 10 second clip when a moth flies by at night, it would be great if there was a feature to turn off the blinking light (i will probably just cover it with sticker)

Seriously? The set up presents with QR code that the camera is supposed to scan and it keeps bleeping "waiting for connection" while unable to scan the QR code. Camera may be good but this product is a dumpster fire.
