How to get your first 1,000 stream song (Spotify Marketing)

How many songs have you released that have less than 1000 streams? I’ve gotten to a point in my music career where every new song I release gets a minimum of a few thousand streams, but for a majority of independent artists just starting out it's more than likely that all of the songs you’ve put out are at that dreaded less than 1000 mark. I think it's some type of suppression, I use to could release a song and a couple of people within 5 days could push it to a 1000, now, they can play it all month and you might get to 1000 plays, so they suppressing music on repeat.
