They do not use one recorded track during any of their sets ever. And only until recently they have Matt as a backup guitarist, who just plays rhythm guitar for songs that have 3 guitar parts like in I feel like dancing. If you watch All Time Low's Straight to DVD you'll see Alex and Jack play their whole entire show live, and this was before Matt was a Backup guitarist. They use to have Rian surrounded by a wall of full stack cabs, now they only have half stacks so you can see Matt on Guitar.

Here those 2 notes at the start of Weightless? There played on the 7th and 8th frets of the B string, and thats played by Matt Collussy backstage. The difference between then and now is that you can actually see collussy behind the speakers. And dude, thats 2 notes not played by Alex. Theres nothing complex that isnt played.

What I meant to say was, All Time Low's chord progressions are so easy even a 10 year old kid could easily learn them by ear, as for Pierce The Veil's, they are quite different. Much more complicated than All Time Low's. That's just my opinion. Not bashing or anything.

All Time Low fan here as well, but i should say ATL use a LOT of recorded guitar tracks and backup guitars live, so even if they dont strum of do some shit with their guitars live, the backup guitars and recorded tracks would do the work. PTV on the other hand dont use as much backup guitars as ATL.
