Just to tell you: I've made dozens of attempts to this already and especially in version 1.2.7 where items are completely randomized, I put the extra rule of shopping limitations because it could happen that you get 5 relic statues from the pokemart clerk in Telnor Town instead of the usual 5 pokeballs. And Relic Statues sell at 200k pokeyens each at the mart, which could result in kinda being gamebreakingly easy. This said, aDrive: my personal record in this kind of run is being beaten by a sky cultist in Helios City, so before even being able to get my 3rd badge. And watch out encountering dragon types in early game

The thing is. I can only actess the moss rock and the ice rock later in the game and I had no elemental stones at that time so I only have a Normal-type Eevee. And it was not easy for the Fighting-type gym. My first evo is Vaporeaon for Surf and I struggled to find the Eevees on route 10. THE ONLY route to find Eevee. So that's why I said it's hard. But when I get the moss rock and ice rock, it got a hit easier but there is SO MUCH GRINDING, plus I hve to worry about the Megas, the rivals, the elite 4, and the chapion who has a mega that almost sweaped my whole team!

Pokémon Ultra Sun Dragon Type only Nuzlocke If I recall correctly, you can’t get Dragon Types until after the first trial (feel free to prove me wrong) So, you can transfer ONE egg with a baby dragon type (choose wisely!) (No mythical/legendary Pokémon obviously) Then your average TypeLocke rules

I once came up with a challenge for Sword and Sheild called the Piers Challenge. You have to beat the base game while only using Dark Type Pokemon and never dynamaxing your pokemon. Since dynamaxing isnt required at any point in the game, it seems possible. I have yet to try this challenge for myself, but it definitely seems possible.

I did a dark only run of Soulsilver. I gave myself a murkrow to start. It's 4 gyms before you can get Umbreon. And a long time before you can get tyranitar houndour or sneasel. But if you do the bug catching contest enough you can get a dusk stone to evolve murkrow. It was a rough challenge

I actually loved the slow pace of DPP because it made the story feel more robust and realistic. Also the region is just beautiful. It also helps that on Christmas when I got my DS and Diamond, it was the last thing I opened and because it was in a soft carrying case I thought it was clothes. Was beyond ecstatic!!!

Dan I got a challenge you should try Playing through a Pokémon game without catching a single Pokémon only getting them through gifts like how I’m gen 1 you can get a magikarp for a price, or how now are Pokémon daycares they give you a Pokémon egg or recently a Pokémon not in a egg And from what I researched HG and SS would be the best games to do this in because you’re able to get like 4 Pokémon before 1 badge and all are without catching, no throwing pokeballs required only gifted to you If you want to see how a play through like it would work I would also advise reacting to MandJtv’s HG/SS challenge video where he completed the game with this style of gameplay

Still going at the run and I have made it to Cynthia so far, Pokemon Platinum with only a surskit. It's pain Edit: I replaced chimchar so my rival had empoleon torwards the end This is because infernape would die to my water moves and Torterra would die to ice. I like to make things as hard on myself as possible as you can tell, in short, I had nothing good for empoleon and had to rely on water pulse. Also no items used in battle, that means no X items or healing items to boost pokemon, held items are allowed tho
