Vincentius Garin I said this on another comment lol but I’ll say it here - I honestly prefer a 100% accurate dragon pulse that does 80 points damage over draco meteor with 140 damage but with “only” 90% accuracy. It is scary when I’m counting on my fast Pokémon to knockout the opponent with this powerful move only to miss and get KOed in the process. 😅

Moses Khiangte It was a shiny Buizel. He only jokingly called it diseased because he couldn't run the risk of it breaking out. He didn't have a net ball at that point, so it was a much, much lower percentage. Not because it would spread. It wasn't a pokerus pokemon. It was just a shiny.

Fun Fact: Pokemon Platinum (possibly Diamond/Pearl, too, I would imagine) is one of the only (possibly the only) Pokemon games to make a comment if you evolve your starter early. Dawn will comment on it. For whatever reason I always liked doing it on subsequent playthroughs just to get that reaction.

@@mikehurt3290 you need to obtain evey single available Pokémon before every gym, including evolutions. That, among other things, means fully evolving your starter before the first gym. Sometimes it's really insane, depanding on the game you choose. For example, in Gold and Silver, you can get Dratini from the Game Corner. So you have to make enough coins to buy it and evolve it all the way to Dragonite - BEFORE you even fight Whitney.

Shoutout to me missing 10 thunders, followed by 4 Dragon Rushes vs Lance's Gyarados and Dragonite. As for how I survived that long, I "defused" the Gyarados using a Ninetails with grudge, and let the Dragonite kill it's special attack with Draco Meteor I still lost.

The hole buizel thing is that he found the shiny at the middle of the grinding and the risk of not catching it first try with a regular pokeball was too high (it was on stream, so reseting so often after hours of grinding isn't entertaining to watch). He catched the buizel later with a netball and after the gym in case it failed the 75% chance.

I love challenges like this tbh bc when i play firered i grind my starter charmander to charizard on this first few routes before viridian forest so when i go to viridian city n get the parcel n get to pallet town by the time i get to viridian forest again i can easily obtain weedle and grind weedle to beedrill etc etc i feel these challenges make the game more fun tbh

@@TheQuashingoftheTub but in the other hand, I believe challenges are more fun in the way of not just battling the same type of pokemon for hours and may not even finding one, you have to complete the story with that challenge and beat the top 4 + champ personally I did neither but if you ask me, I'd say Shiny-hunting is a bit less fun but it's only my opinion

I mean he uses methods like S.O.S frequently and said himself that he hated random encountering and masuda method breeding. So, he mostly shiny hunts using methods that increase odds but if that method takes a long time, he won't use it such as masuda method

To add context Does anyone remember Super Mario Odyssey? Well,Smallant was trying to beat it without hearing and seeing the game and relying on his chat. In Metro Kingdom/New Donk City,He was trying to do "The Impossible Jump" in the challenge. The problem was that when the chat was telling him to do a cap throw,A man NPC was pushing him into a capturable object. This became the joke of the real enemy was not Bowser but "The Man".

Challenges like this are exactly what makes the Halo series' LASO playthroughs fun for me. There's a lot of trial-and-error, RNG and crap to deal with, but a lot of the time it forces you to figure out a solution that plays to your strengths and encourages clever use of cooperation (except solo, which is boring and way harder since it resets the whole level, rather than just the last checkpoint). It can be frustrating, but there's something very fun and rewarding about getting through an insanely tough level with a friend because you thought of a clever tactic or worked together to exploit a glitch to bypass or despawn enemies. Then you get to the next level and have to figure out the easiest and most efficient way to beat that. I don't think I'd ever want to try a Pokemon game without taking any damage, though... but then again, I never thought I'd want to play LASO and I've gone and beaten it for every major Halo release except for Reach and CE now.
