THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video! I couldn't find out how to clear that 103 Long Range Radio error code after I discontinued my monitoring with ADT. You explained it so clearly and showed the sequence of buttons to enter. I truly appreciate you help. I had searched so many web sites and videos before finally finding yours. Great job!

Hey I know this video is 6 years old but thanks a lot. You helped me find the manual which helped me fix a couple of minor problems. You are correct about when I first got my adt alarm a while back they did things for free. Now they charge you for every little thing. It really is too bad. But thanks again for the help.

Hello , I wanted to let you know that ADEMCO Honeywell uses these panels. The installer code default for them and then they mass manufacture for ADT. ADT has the installer code manufactured for their installers to know. The Programming manual that you are looking at at the video is a generic programming guide for the LYNX Touch and that is the reason for the different codes.

Thanks for making the video. One slight difference my unit looks just like yours, but to re-program the user code I onl;y had to enter the new code once not twice. 6321 802 nnnn. II took me awhile to figure it out because I would get 3 beeps while key it the second time.

Hey PME, Great video. Learned a lot and printed off the manual for my reading. One question I have is can you set this system up to call/text my phone number so I can self monitor it? Awesome video! I somewhat have the same panel but was removed by another security company, now im trying to find out what ports for the power to the panel go into. Theres a big wire with 4 little wires in it... red/yellow are twined together and black and blue are together. Theres 11 ports where i can screw them into but not sure which..?

any suggestion on disconnecting the monthly test? every month the unit beeps until silenced, trying to connect to adt and it can't i'm assuming, the unit is not monitored and would love to shut this monthly beeping off.

How do you clear the memory display? I have false message and I need to clear it. I checked the manual and it says in section Memory of Alarm: To clear the display, note the zone number displayed and enter an OFF sequence ( Enter your security code and press the OFF key). I followed the instructions and nothing happened. Could you help me Sir please and thank you 🙏??

FC is Failed Communication, the alarm is trying to call ADT and not getting anywhere. I'm assuming then your system is not being monitored. Somewhere in the video I physically disconnect the wireless cell phone unit, but you can also try [installer code] + 8 + 00, *41* *42*, exit programming with *99

on my app it says no cellular connection but nothing on my wall unit (I have this same one) how do I get that to connect back or is it just my app? I can't find anything about it except for people with the wireless box which I don't have.

Te installer code is wrong in the manual because all ADT branded systems have it set to 6321 by default, but all others have it set to 4112 by default.

I have the same system. When I set the alarm I can exit out the front door but when I exit out the garage door to get into my car the alarm triggers. Solution?

you garage door is not set as an exit entry door that's an easy fix they should be able to walk you through over the phone

Thats a bad alarm; let me explain. Well first of all the brains are all in the system. This is bad because if somebody breaks in through the front door, they can smash the alarm and the monitoring center won't be dispatched. The way to solve this would be getting crash and smash protection by the monitoring or having the motherboard in a closet, utility or garage. Having a radio backup is good too.
