Can’t wait for you do get you next machine. My first machine was a Singer Futura XL 400 that sews and embroidery. My next machine I bought a Brother VE 2200 embroidery only, it only is a single needle. I have room for 3 machines embroidery, sewing machine and a 4 thread surger. Do you make shirts yourself? I have sewed bag, purses and lots of large items I never needed to sew clothing but I am starting to do that now. Sewed my first bottom down shirt. This way I can embroider the garment before I sew it together .

Kasey Jones yes you can embroider r into crewneck shirts. It would take some practice to get the embroidery correct and line up the shirt correct but you can do it. Your second question. Yes and no. The machine embroiders digitized files. The images have to be digitized for the machine to recognize it. You can’t just have a picture on a flash drive. That wouldn’t work. I hope that helps. JP5799 dont over think pull comp. 0.2 will work for almost everything in this size hoop or smaller. Watch A-Dubb video again your welcome to message me and I will take more time to explain. But simply put pull comp is used when your fill doesn’t end at the right location. This is call “registry error” in this video you hear him say he needs to fill the gap. When you make the fill say it is 2 wide but when you stitch it out the pull of the thread tension pulls and ends up short. Instead of going in to the pattern design and slowly adjusting the edge you just click on your pull comp and the software adds the command right into the file and your done. This is the short version explanation. Don’t really need to understand how and why it works just know if the alinement is wrong add 0.1 or 0.2 pull comp.

No. You have to use Embroidey files in the format that your machine reads. Embroidery machines do not read any random file types they have no stitch information etc.

Well kinda. The placement stitch is something that needs to be added when you create your appliqué design in the software. The machine does what the digitized file tells it to do. So it will stitch out a placement stitch if the file was created that way.

I just purchased a month ago a se600, destroyed quite a few towels & still can't figure out how to transfer from laptop to thumbdrive & do a applique. I don't understand how to read the design for a applique after i down loaded it - I purchased a Troll, no clue, can someone help me? LOL

Not bad. You did great. I would have used a black outline and a nice purple and hot pink instead of yellow or dark blue for the hair and I would have used a glitter thread for the horn. But like you said it’s all about personal preference and just leaning as you go. Great job. Subscribed❤️

No, it’s not a Png. It is a digitized file. A .pes. You have to get your png digitized to a file that the embroidery machine can read. You either need digitizing software or you need Simone like myself to digitize it for you. You can send me a picture if your image arrives [e-mail] and we can talk about whether i not i can do it and what it would cost.
