@justinence3148 Жыл бұрын
Ya it is a Navitas motor and controller setup. It is an upgrade to golf carts. It’s pretty sweet but definitely not cheap. I’m also looking at building one with the electro and co 24kw motor controller and battery setup. You could look into that too. Not cheap but very fun haha

Did you do any modifications to the electric system from the golf kart?
@theencefamily6 ай бұрын
@@Christopherbever the system itself is called a navitas AC kit. It is on the pricey side but no modifications are needed after the purchase of the kit. I am currently Running the navitas kit with a eco battery and the guys at eco battery helped me put the navitas controller in the right settings and it has even more power then when I filmed this video.

@theencefamily8 ай бұрын
More volts is always welcome. 😂 originally we were running a cheap 48v lithium battery (this video) but we have upgraded to the 51v 72ah eco-battery and with their help we have the controller settings dialed in. We have talked about building another one with suspension dialed in and a custom higher volt battery. Would be so sweet

@justinence82496 ай бұрын
Ya, we definitely need better shocks. problem is that when we build it with what we had laying around the shop, we built it with a single A arm setup and the bump steer is insane haha so in order to put softer shocks on it we would need to rebuild the a arm setup as well. So, instead of tearing this one apart we voted for building a second one haha

@justinence824910 ай бұрын
building the frame probably wont take much it was pretty simple but designing suspension like the a arms and such was the most work. You could defintely pull the rear axle and all the guts and modify it to an old buggy frame if you can find one.
