haha it's always a balance. some weeks i'm really good and some weeks i'm horrrrrible and i burn out and i spend the weekend just vegetating x_x but yes i do aspire to regularly prioritize these boundaries!

I always love the disclaimer and transparency with your videos i've followed you for a while now, but havent really really dug in your videos until recently because I've just been going through some career struggles. Was in Kinesiology then changed and graduated to become a UI/UX designer a few months ago, some life stuff happened and plans of grinding out my portfolio and find a career in the field have been difficult in Canada. Im finally getting myself together and working on my portfolio but motivation has been hard and watching your videos reminds me I need to stay focused, passionate, and excited. Im a creative and theres so many things I wanna do but I get overwhelmed sometimes and not know where to start. I'm hoping to fix this gradually so I can do all the things I truly want to do, (while also making money) to live comfortably but keep growing. Thank you for these videos! I work in tech too as a ✨✨software Product Owner✨✨, thank you for being honest about the "dream job" idea. After working at several tech companies, a dream job is one you create yourself or at a company that you built. The work trauma section was a big AHA moment for me, I've been trying to articulate my current thoughts and feelings around corporate leveling and that crazy need to be validated. I need more healthy-boundaries tutorials lol. I will get that book. Thank you!

@@chloeshih yeah and once you have kids it’s about comparing your kids to other kids… it is truly a never ending cycle and that should never establish how you feel about your life because of others. If you are content with your life then that’s fine. (Social media playing a large role in this generation).

@@chloeshihI left a comment here earlier, but I don’t see it… :( So just to paraphrase it again, you should look into cognitive functions. It’s a little tricky at first, but if you take the time and look into it, hopefully you’ll see your patterns show up. Because it’s not about if one MBTI type is into interior designs or not…it’s a little more complicated than that, so I recommend for newbies to check out this KZbinr named Eric Wen who breaks down cognitive functions in a digestible way. And once you have the building blocks together, you have a better understanding what type you might be. A lot of people tend to get their types wrong because there’s a lot of misconceptions, so hopefully this helps.

My husband and I (in our 30s) married for 3 years buying this year and we are veryyy similar. esp for kids. I so understand your friends wanting surrogates. I am the higher earner and don't want to put my career on hold. Also we got married during covid so great excuse to not fund a huge wedding which was 100000% worth it!

@@chloeshih As a person in cybersecurity, I would highly reccomend NOT touring your home on your channel, or being VERY careful about how you do it. Many creators have been doxxed on youtube, it just takes one person with time and a motive to find out where you live and start to mess with you. Little things like shots out windows, or pictures on your walls can be a way to locate your home. Be safe!
