I remember listening to the PM news programme on BBC Radio 4 & they read out a letter from Nilsen whilst he was on remand in prison in which he claimed that his murders were not as bad as the disruption to the country caused by Margaret Thatcher's government. The BBC presenter said, in very scornful tones, "We have confirmed that this letter is from Denis Nilsen."

Ted Bundy was actually pretty intelligent. He had an IQ of 136, but how he got out of the pull over is due to him appearing charming and polite. He didn't fit the profile of a serial killer and this how he escaped all these times. He even managed to escape prison and managed to hide and evaded himself from being recaptured. That isn't dumb.

As someone who lives about 45 minutes from Wichita, KS and has a mom who has worked in the prison where BTK is imprisoned, I find it awful that George made a joke about his name. I was only 5 years old when he was arrested, but hearing my mom later talk about how nerve racking it was and how scary it was raising my brothers during this time always makes my stomach turn. I can't even imagine what it's like for the friends and family of the victims. R.I.P. to all of the victims of the horrible criminals.
