This sort of defeats the purpose of using an Easy Bake Oven because to properly judge it you would need to use the packages that are made to be cooked in it. This is less about the Easy Bake Oven and more about if the recipe you all chose was good or not.

Lauren G. These are easy bake oven recipes, in that they are recipes that were designed to be used in the easy bake oven. I think you were thinking more along the lines of "Adults Try Easy Bake Oven Mixes" since that's what they call the little packages that are sold to be cooked in the easy bake oven. I think it could have been interesting if they had done a blend of original recipes and the mixes, because then they could compare if real ingredients tasted better than the powdered packaged mix packs.

Sxlina Nessa the dough of the cookies, brownies, and pizzas come with the oven. You could probably cook other things in it, but it does come with some mixes already.

Makayla I may be wrong here as I haven't looked into it, however your statement is a bit ridiculous as I'm pretty sure the heating elements produce heat by running electricity through a material that provides resistance to generate heat, an incandescent lightbulb uses the same principle using tungsten as the material to produce light and heat, this is also why they are so inefficient. All those commas tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah this video wasn't a good representation of easy bake oven products. The items going in the oven were homemade, not the mixes that come with the easy bake oven or the easy bake oven mixes and powders you buy at the store.

I'm in high school and like 2 Christmases ago my mom and I were looking in a toys r us catalog to find toys for my baby cousin when we came across the new easy bake oven. I jokingly said to my mom, "Ooh, I wanna easy bake oven for Christmas," thinking we both knew I was just kidding around. When Christmas morning rolls around I go downstairs to open up my presents and low and behold, there it is, the easy bake oven. 75% of my gifts that year revolved around that easy bake oven. I'm not selfish, so I think my mom for everything I received. Now imagine me, a 14-15 year old using an easy bake oven. And I did for about 3 months until all the mixes ran out. Needless to say, best Christmas present I ever received. I was the envy of the school. 😎
