I remember when my good friend introduced me to Metalocalypse a couple years ago. She was looking for shows to watch and ended up pointing Metalocalypse out. I glanced over to see a dark image of Nathan Explosions bloody face in the title card. The first thing I thought was that he looked creepy, but it also struck curiosity within me. My friend lured me in further by saying there's this one character I would love. So I gave it a go. I ended up loving the show immensely. The dark humor, the story line that continued to build on itself and become more epic with each season, the fantastic music.. To which by that point, I was not a metal fan. I was into classic rock, but had never gotten a proper introduction to metal. I always assumed it involved screaming in a microphone, accompanied by screeching guitars. I was only partially right. ;) But I was also under the impression that metal was sinister and was supposed to sound bad. That assumption not only turned out to be wildly untrue, it shattered my perception of what metal truly is (or can be). We ended up binge watching the show together, laughing and joking the whole way through. At one point I was laughing so hard I was in tears; it was the happiest I had felt in a long time. After the show ended, I found myself wandering back to the music. Discovering the Dethalbums, I fell even further head over heels for it, and I found out that I really love metal. It opened up new avenues for me that I would have never imagined for myself, such as starting guitar lessons, attending my first metal concert, and meeting such kind souls along the way. Metalocalypse blew any expectations I had out of the water, and it left a big impact on my life that will never go away. I, along with many, many others, would be over the moon ecstatic to have a final season. It isn't just a silly, unique show with amazing music, but it's something we hold very dear as an audience. To be granted that magical, glowing suitcase would be the best gift we could ever ask for, in this regard. Please consider granting us this chance. I'm seeing my friend for the first time in two years in November so we can attend the Dethklok concert together. We're so excited for it! Also: That character she assured me I would love turned out to be Toki Wartooth. She turned out to be correct; I absolutely adore him, and on a personal level he holds a special place in my heart.

I have supported Brendon's career since I found out about him. Home Movies is amazing. Metalocalypse is amazing. Brendon's personal music is amazing. He's involved in music videos for other great bands (Nekrogoblikon - Dressed As Goblins, for example). The situation as to why Metalocalypse hasn't been able to continue and why Brendon isn't allowed to do Dethklok on his own is bullshit, it's 100% [adult swim]. I'd love to see the show continue and see him pursue one last Dethklok record.

Ill never forget watching the metalocalypse pilot, at the end it was a mix of elation because of how much I loved it and anger Cuz it was so short. Strange how I felt the same at the end of the show. Die for dethklok! !!

It's a show with a masochist fanbase that enjoys a show where they're the butt of the joke. The thing is that lame metal heads are so desperate for any mainstream spotlight that they'll worship anything that references metal *cough* Lords of Chaos *cough*. The show is shitty, lazily made, and not funny. The same goes for the music.

Brendon i think remained pretty diplomatic about the fan fallout with adult swim so its not insane to think he could either eventually complete metalacoplypse or pitch a new show. I dont know all the details but it seemed the fans just pissed off the powers that be there. I remember like 10 years ago when i used to participate on the forums, even before metalacoplypse, there was a lot of contention between fans and the staff already. So i can only imagine what happened when it got cancelled. Its like parents punishing their children pretty much i think is what seemed to have happened
